In the event of a line voltage interruption or failure, UPS action seamlessly takes over and supports all dc outputs by drawing power from a disk-drive bay mounted battery pack. All units offer active power factor correction, a universal input voltage range (user-adjustable high-line/low-line selector switch eliminated), fan cooling, and are suitable for both industrial and commercial applications. |
| When used in conjunction with a standard BP2423A battery pack, hold-up times of 20 to 30 minutes can be achieved in typical PC based systems. A serial port compatible interface is provided for optional communication with host system hardware/software. |
